Took forever to negotiate out the deal to buy this one but it's ours. I will most likely keep www.war-mongers.net forever as it's part of our history, and for saps who don't update their bookmarks. Hopefully this will make us a bit easier for folks to find.

Hey Osy, I was curious as to how you went about this. I have a certain domain name I want to try to get for my band (that's already registered) and was wondering if you had any suggestions on the best way to do this.

I contacted them and tried to get a reasonable price. This did not work. I finally went to GoDaddy who has a paid service that will try to catch the URL for you the instant it drops. Then it was just wait...since the guy had it set to renew as soon as it expired...during the time it took to process his credit card or whatever, GoDaddy snaked it for me out from under him.

Oh shit, ahahahahahahahahaha bet you that fucker is pissed off. I know over at www.huntudown.net (my ps3 clan, shameless plug, I know) I couldn't get the .com and didn't want to pay 18 bucks for a maybe. Good to know it will work though
