Code of Conduct

 

This code of conduct provides guidance on the standards of behaviour that are expected from the members of the WarMongers Guild. The code applies to members (of all ranks) in their dealings with each other and the wider gaming community.


 

The objective of the code is to:

  • Foster mutual trust, respect and tolerance between WarMongers members.
  • Protect the credibility of the WarMongers Guild within the gaming community.
  • Support the development of a positive, teamwork oriented WarMongers community.

 

 

1. WarMongers actions shall demonstrate that they are part of an entity which believes that the importance of the whole is more vital than the importance of the individual.

     Because of our family style bond in the WarMongers, the next three rules are case in point. We do pick with one another and have fun. If one party ever wishes it to stop, then it must stop.

2. WarMongers shall not abuse or discourage other WarMongers in any way and shall act in a respectful manner in all communications.

3. WarMongers shall not make derogatory comments regarding gender, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental disabilities.

4. WarMongers shall not participate in any act of sexual harassment or bullying.

5. WarMongers shall not use any Guild resource to publicly derogate other guilds, bring other guilds or their members into disrepute, or generally abuse other entities. Unless you receive permission from the Guild Leader.

6. When called upon WarMongers shall endeavor to come to the aid of any other WarMonger in need of assistance.  

7. All WarMongers shall attempt to participate in Guild related events unless time or personal circumstances preclude attendance. If a WarMonger has signed up to an event but is later unable to attend they shall notify the relevant officer (Raid Officer) at the earliest opportunity.

8. WarMongers going on extended leave shall notify an Officer at the earliest opportunity.

9. WarMongers shall not steal from other WarMongers or from the Guild itself. "Ninja looting" is prohibited when raiding with any non-WarMonger guilds.

10. Unless authorized to do so by an Officer, WarMongers shall not discuss sensitive Guild related issues (including Guild management, strategies and tactics) in any public forum. With the exception of disciplinary actions and complaints these issues shall only be discussed within the Members Forum of the Guild website.

11. WarMongers shall not distribute personal information about any other WarMonger without their approval.

12. WarMongers shall not promote their individual ideas and opinions as being those of the WarMongers Guild in any forum external to the Guild. WarMongers who wish to post information about Guild related matters shall contact an Officer for advice on how to proceed.

13. WarMongers shall not promote the use of gold farming websites, account selling websites, bots, scripts or other 'illegal' third party applications.

14. WarMongers shall obey all rules and regulations regarding any game they are playing as WarMongers as may be determined necessary by the maker of said game. Obey all NDAs and EULAs.

15. WarMongers shall commit to the WarMongers Guild and shall not be members of any other guild on servers officially used by the WarMongers Guild.  

WarMongers shall monitor and report breaches of the Code of Conduct to an Officer.
